Keep Your Hands To Yourselves Ladies...

I've been meaning to vent about this topic for two weeks now and I've been progressively getting more angry about it so I have to let it out now. To start off, I will admit, I love my share of Estrogen saturated reality television shows. Basketball Wives, Housewives of Atlanta, Mob Wives, Love & Hip Hop...I mean ALL of them. However, I am highly disappointed in the High School behavior of some of these women. Why is it that these grown women think that it is OKAY to put their hands on another woman because they said something they didn't like or agree with? I mean for God's sake, yall are 30 plus GROWN women! We all know when you put a group of women in the same room (especially in front of camera's), there's bound to be drama. However, these shows have had MORE than their fair share of drink throwing. What a lack of CLASS.

I will admit, there are times where throwing a glass is understandable though never justifiable. Sometimes you can hit on a woman's insecurities one time to many, and she may black out, which is part of the reason why one needs to be careful of what comes out the mouth. But then I've seen situations where Woman #1 jumps over a table to fight Woman #2 because of a comment she made, or because Woman #2 simply retaliated in response to Woman #1's offensive comment. Whatever. All I know is that there is NEVER EVER a time when it's okay to put your hands on another woman because of a comment made. The ONLY time that this is justifiable is if you are DEFENDING yourself. Otherwise, you look like a FOOL on television. An absolute fool and a bully. I hope that you don't think that this is doing anything for your career once this reality show is over. With your behavior, you might be able to host parties, write books and maybe even give to charites *side eye*...but you will NEVER get to work with the first lady, earn a nobel piece prize or anything else that really matters in the world. As Tamar Braxton would say, HAVE SEVERAL SEATS.

To add to that, it's a shame that these women are RICH from being bullies, throwing drinks and meeting the quota of cursing at least 5 times in every sentence. Understandably, TV networks realize that drama brings attention and money, because that's what people want to see. But to be able to make a living by acting like a wild animal? What is this world coming to?

Women have FOUGHT to be made equal to men in society. For years, we have tried to prove our worth and prove that we can take on the world like the big boys. But can we really? If you can't handle someone saying something to you that you don't like, how are you gonna handle being asked an uncomfortable question during a business meeting? How are you going to answer the reporter with the bold question during a conference? What are you going to do in court when the opposing attorney makes a statement that you don't like? Guaranteed, men are looking at these shows and are asking "why do you women act like this?". Women are now more than ever being generalized as caddy, overly emotional and border line INSANE beings. While it's true that we are very emotional beings, we need to learn how to control our emotions in compromising situations. However, most of these women on TV don't know what the word self-control means, and it reflects badly on us women. And it's not fair because not all of us are like this. Many of us are well educated business women who know how to act. But as for you, glass throwing woman? Please go have a drink and mellow out. Actually no scratch that, because YOU might throw it. *Excessive Eye Rolling*

I'm especially annoyed with this topic because I'm someone who has been bullied for years. Society has just begun to realize that this is a problem with teens...but obviously, it's a huge problem between grown women too, so you all need to get it together.

To end my rant, STOP putting your hands on people. STOP throwing glasses of wine. Drink the wine. Love the wine. Smell the wine...don't THROW the wine. Wine is your friiiiend.

ACT like a lady!

How Pitiful...
